It's my freehand drawings!
This project follows a university course (advanced skills in architectural design) aimed at developing architectural environments, and within this course, I and my group developed a special system that allows people with special needs in general, and the blind and deaf in particular, to go to and enjoy gardens, relying on other senses such as smell, touch and taste, where simulation systems have been developed that respond to signals issued by the user that are translated into a reaction (smell,  Sound or machine response) which allows the user to feel the environment and enjoy it, it has been one of the nicest commons in my life, I hope to implement similar systems because I always believe that everyone should enjoy the gardens fairly, but everyone has the right to enjoy everything.
This is a 3D touch-sensitive map, once the sensors sense the touch of the hand on a place, the response is emitted by releasing a distinctive odor that is emitted automatically as soon as the user passes through the same place and picks up a signal in a certain way.
The scents have been carefully selected, each selected scent gives a different feeling, the aromatic lemon scent, for example, gives a sense of comfort while the lavender scent gives a sense of energy and vitality, so the user can feel feelings similar to those felt by a normal person.
Not only the sense of smell, but the sense of touch played a pivotal role, as three-dimensional panels containing different materials, dimensions, contacts were used to help the user identify the environment more accurately, Braille was used as well, especially in the guidance boards.
The system was not limited to enjoyment and entertainment only, but also entered into safety systems, where the sensors worked to capture signals associated with security systems to protect the blind, in particular, the image represents the road barrier system that captures the signal of the blind stick to send it to the protection system, closing the traffic signal and the barrier rises automatically.
And certainly, it is not limited to people with special needs, even natural people will enjoy this system and love it, distinctive smells, beautiful views and wonderful paintings, it is the system that will make the park ideal for everyone!!
